I tried solution 2, as mentioned in the mail.
I've tried solution ane several times, nothing substantial ever came up.
I don't wish to try and hardware solutions as I'g not an expert.
Anything else I might have missed out on?

Yes I did, but that didn't piece of work either.
How do I drain my battery? My laptop won't stay on for longer than a couple minutes when unplugged.
Could you please list down the steps for solutions iv and 5?
